How To Apologize Correctly
If you are going to apologize, do it correctly with this framework: State you are sorry. Explain what you did and that it was wrong. Let the other person know you hurt them by doing this. Let them know how you will avoid this again in the future. Never use the word ‘but’ because it makes your sentence sound like an excuse. Never use the word ‘if’ because it diminishes the apology.
